How did you get started in the cannabis industry?

I am intrigued by the holistic and organic nature of cannabis as a natural remedy from years of hearing many testimonials of how cannabis works without the many complicated side effects as in medications. Because, as a retired veteran of the home health care industry and decades of witnessing patients with multiple side effects of medications, I believe that medical cannabis should at least be suggested as an alternative for patients to consider.

How did you start your business?

I started my business with the money I received from the sale of my home care business. In southern Mississippi, I think the name Blessed Southern Flowers Dispensary is very suitable, because the word "blessed" is often used in greetings like "have a blessed day". For me, the cannabis flower symbolizes a blessing to those who experience reliefs from variety of health conditions.

How do you use rubber stamps for your business?

I use burlap bags for customers' purchases, and it is cost effective to stamp these bags instead of ordering them custom printed, but coincidently it became a branding idea, as giving the burlap bags an organic and natural look.

How did you get the idea to use rubber stamps for your business? Do you like using stamps?

This is the first time I used a stamp for a logo, and I think it is very versatile on the color choices in ink and can be used on different types of surfaces.
