Different Types of Signature Stamps

For heavy use, a self-inking signature stamp is best because you don’t need to re-ink after each impression. Self-inking stamps are also more portable than other options because you don’t need to carry a separate ink pad with you.

For a more economical option, wood handle signature stamps are the best choice. These classic rubber signature stamps allow you to choose any color ink, since they require the use of a separate ink pad. Plus, they offer the classic look and feel of a wooden handle.

  • The signature must be signed on a blank sheet of white paper with a black ballpoint pen.
  • Signatures that are in pencil, Sharpie, or a pen that prints too lightly will not work.
  • Signatures on lined paper or signatures that are signed on a line will not work, either.
  • Make sure that there are no breaks in your signature that are not a part of how you would like your signature to appear.
  • If you are uploading your signature file to the Stamp Designer, make sure that the signature is the exact size you would like as the stamped impression.
