I bought this for my son's wedding invitations. I uploaded my own design and it looks great! You really can't tell that the return address is stamped rather than printed. The stamp was shipped super quickly which was great. Took about a week or so to come in. Overall the size is good and it was exactly what I was wanting design wise. The main downfall is that it does not work great for what I was needing, which was stamping cardboard boxes. I can’t seem no matter if I press and hold, double tap, rock it back and forth, any technique I can think get the full image to transfer it’s always broken in one or more spots. I have also tried it on regular paper and it’s hit and miss as well. Not sure if it’s my design or I possibly just got a flawed stamp? But unfortunately isn’t working great for what I needed.
Thank you for taking the time to supply feedback! Typically, we don't recommend a self inking stamp for cardboard because you need to have a completely flat surface in order to apply consistent pressure to make a quality impression. Because cardboard is corrugated, it is difficult to evenly apply pressure. We recommend a wood handle stamp with a separate stamp pad for this so you can better control the pressure across the surface. It is also critical the cardboard is flat (not assembled) and not stacked on other cardboard. You want the surface as flat as possible. I will email you a link to our tips and tricks for stamping on boxes.

The stamp itself is great, correct info was on the stamp, black ink is good. My only complaint is it is VERY DIFFICULT to center the stamp on a check. There is a lot of extra space between the frame of the stamp and the stamp letters. I’m always stamping below the line on the back of a check where the endorsement is to go. I wish the top of the stamp frame could line up with the edge of the check so the endorsement printed on the line in the same position every time.

You really have to lean into this thing in order to have it make a fully legible print. If you don't, it leaves off some part of what you want on the paper.

A stamp should be just a stamp, right? There were two issues with my order. First, I paid for express postage (after Christmas btw) to be received by Decmeber 28-29. I needed it on Dec 30 for a birthday. It arrived on Jan 2. What did I pay express for then? Also, the stamp is self inking and it does not ink uniformly. So, at this point I cannot recommend this company. There was another company I used and received a perfectly good stamp with a custom logo, as this was.

While I like the imprint of the stamp itself, I was surprised that the image is housed in such a large style of stamp. There's a lot of blank space around the image and when I stamp onto the back of a card I made, it's difficult to judge where to place it. I realize this means I obviously chose the incorrect style of stamp for the image I needed. How do we make the correct decision on style for the completed stamp image? I need this info put into a smaller style of stamp but easily readable.

I love it! I am using it to stamp paper bags with my business info. It's perfect for the 10x5x13 bags, but doesn't work as well for the 8x4.25x10.5 ones. Those are too small and have too many bumps, so the stamp isn't even. But that's on me, and I love this size! It's a beautiful, clean stamp.

Outstanding stamp delivered accurately and on-time. The generous dimensions mean you can easily design exactly the impression you want. In our case, size 10 arial font and 1pt lines are reproduced accurately. It is a large stamp (read the dimensions) and the bottom of the frame is larger than the stamped area - this is necessary because of the stamp's design. But the stamp winds up in the middle of that area, and this is pretty easy to figure out (not sure why a previous reviewer found this challenging...) If you need really precise stamping areas, choose a smaller/more limited stamp. For the rest of us, this is a fantastic product.

The design was accurate and shipping was quick, however, the stamp only works on absolutely smooth and flat surfaces. This was not clear in the description, I should have read the reviews more thoroughly. It won't work at all for my purposes, I wanted to stamp paper shopping bags for my small business, but the paper of the brown bags is not smooth enough...The item description should be updated to clearly state the limitations of this product. Waste of $65
We are sorry you are having issues creating a quality impression with your stamp. For all stamps, you do need a flat surface to achieve a quality impression because you must apply even pressure across the stamp.
For pre-inked Maxlights stamps, you will want to hold it down for 1-2 seconds. If you are stamping on paper bags, we recommend you insert a thin piece of cardboard inside the bag so the seams do not show within your impression. I have provided a link below that gives tips for stamping on bags:

We needed replace the stamper we had to stamp deeds being transferred. So, that requires a custom stamper. I proofed the writing and the font that we liked. Then at the bottom it has stamps to pick from. We didn't want one of them because we already had that stamper and wanted something different. We decided on the Trodat Professional 5211, like I mentioned these were the choices we picked from. OH my goodness, it is really to big of a stamper. The people who transfer deeds said it is to big to line up on a deed. So, I am disappointed..

I made a spelling error and did not realize it until after I placed my order late at night. I immediately emailed for assistance and had received an next day stating my order was placed on hold until they heard from me further with clear instructions. Not sure if the stamp was just too big or what but I can only get 1 clear impression out of every 5 stamps, no matter the surface, pressure, or duration of pressing down the stamp.

The self inking stamp ended up being much less expensive than I had anticipated. It works really well. The design has a very small font but it comes out clear. I stamped over 500 times in a short period. They all came out clear and sharp.

This purchase was to replace an older stamp from them - the person I bought the stamp for got married and wanted a replacement to change her name.
It was a NIGHTMARE, trying to find/get the design software/windows to replicate the old stamp. I simply could NOT get it to work.
I sent a copy/print of the existing (first generation) stamp to them and one of they agents very quickly took care of the essential problem - she was able to re-create the stamp exactly as it had been, with the new name. That's all I wanted to do so it worked.
Beyond that, the cost, shipping and timing was outstanding.

I have been looking for a signature stamp that won't print excess ink around the signature (like a rectangle of ink around the signature) creating a cheap look. These rubber stamps are the perfect solution. With a few light taps of the ink pad, I can apply a medium amount of pressure with this stamp and the signature looks clean and exactly as I ordered it. Shipping is fast and the price is reasonable. I regret not ordering sooner. I highly recommend!

The ink is faint at times…… especially when first using it and for the first 5-10 stamps. It also takes a lot of force to get the ink applied across the entire area of the stamp.
Hello! With Maxlight pre-inked stamps you need to hold them down for 1-3 seconds to allow the ink to come through the pad. I ordered this relatively small stamp for my business logo. My logo includes the "TM" (trademark) with the circle around it. I could not believe how they actually included this on the stamp. They worked with me before the order to locate an order made 4 years ago. It was delivered promptly and was excellent quality. The only issue was I intended to use the stamp with paint, not ink. The lettering could have been “deeper”. I don’t know if it’s available and I didn’t think to ask. My fault, not the company’s.
Hello! Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, we are unable to adjust the depth to be deeper as our stamps are made for ink, not paint. However, you can try applying the paint with a roller to see if it thins the paint enough to work with the stamp.
