As a follow up, I was contacted by one of thestampmaker's team members who offered me an apology and offered to make a new stamp correcting all issues I listed in my first review. They reached out in a timely manner and said they would make a new stamp correcting the off-center, the extra padding material, the stamp shape, and so on. They created a new one and mailed it to me expedited shipping so I got the new stamp in like 2 days over a weekend. I must say I am very satisfied with the response, the new stamp, and the customer service. I can gladly say it's a product I can recommend by staff who obviously care a lot about what they do.
I would have edited or removed my first review, but I wasn't given that option on the website. If they delete it, they have my blessings to do so.

I think I could like this product but the execution was just bad. Someone along the lines of assembly to shipping didn’t review the stamp before shipping it. That’s a bit clear to me.
The handle is not centered on the stamp, so it’s always .5” off. When you stamp several sheets this gets very grating. The seal itself is stretched vertically, leading to an oblong shape instead of a circle. The padding material under the stamp projects out a bit so the stamp sometimes catches some ink and presses it along with the seal itself despite my best efforts to be careful. And finally the edges aren’t sanded which seems just odd given its a product that most people would display on a desk.
The craftsmanship is just poor and I have a hard time recommending it.
While we do have a final inspection before shipping. we apologize that your stamp went out not perfect! We will review this internally!
