  2. What is the difference between self-inking and pre-inked stamps?

Self-inking stamps flip up, hit an ink pad and flip back down. They are good for 7,000+ impressions and can be re-inked. Pre-inked stamps have the ink molded right into the wording. Pre-inked stamps are good for 50,000+ impressions and can be re-inked.

  3. What is the difference between polymer and natural rubber?

All of our stamps are made of polymer unless you choose a natural rubber upgrade. Polymer is a plastic material and works great for most applications. A natural rubber is recommended when using industrial type inks or solvents that would eat away at the polymer material.

  11. What kind of stamp should I use for stamping on hands?

Our Trodat Self Inking Stamps will stay on skin, but can be removed with soap if scrubbed. Our MaxLight Pre-Inked Stamps will remain on the skin longer than the Trodat. We also sell invisible or ultraviolet ink which will show blue when viewed under a black light. The amount of time the stamp impression will last depends on the skin conditions, the amount of ink in the stamp and what the indivdual uses (different soaps or cleaners) to remove the stamp.

  12. What does CO2 Neutral mean?

The stamps that have a CO2 neutral logo are manufactured with a minimized carbon footprint (49% of CO2 emissions can now be saved during the production process). These products are manufactured with the highest content of recycled plastic that is technically possible. The residual unavoidable CO2 footprint of these products is compensated by investment in Gold Standard climate protection projects recommended by the World Wildlife Foundation.
